The producers of the movie said they are taking cue from popular comedies and adapting them into something palatable for Christian audiences.
“I love all the Judd Apatow movies – ‘40 Year Old Virgin,’ ‘Knocked Up,’ ‘Superbad’ – they’re all great,” Rich Praytor, a co-producer and co-writer of the film, told The Gazette.
“So we wanted to take something like that into the Christian arena.”
greaterthanlapsed: So. It’s a Christian rom-com. About abstinence. With a Ted Haggard cameo. Also, this is apparently what Candace Cameron is up to these days.
I don’t even know what to say about this disturbing turn of events.

2. I mean, the only three words that could make this better : starring Kirk Cameron.
3. there’s no way in hell these guys legally licensed All The Single Ladies for this trailer, and I would love to see them pay dearly.

I have this sinking feeling that this will be playing in the background next Thanksgiving. And at the end, my dad will talk about how great it was.
